I'm Grouch and Some Great Banded Bloggers

Ok, so it's official.  Today I am absolutely not in the mood for protein shakes.  I do like like them in a jar, I do not like them near or far.  I do not like them in a can, I do not like them Sam I am.
Today Aunt Flow decided to visit.  Just 5 days before surgery of course.  Just close enough to still be lingering around and making it oh so fun.  I'm sleepy, grumpy, fussy and did I mention sleepy?  It's hot as balls outside (not that "balls" are a measure of temperature, but I'm grumpy, leave my comparison alone).  I'm sitting here looking at my protein shake lunch and trying to figure out how I'm going to gag this down.  Mind you, I don't hate my shakes.  They actually taste pretty good.  But I'm menstrual and fussy, and I want a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich on whole wheat.  Not some crummy vanilla protein drink.  Can you hear my whininess from there??  I can barely stand to be around myself right now.  I am ready to climb into bed under my covers and hide from the world for a couple days.

So enough whining.  I went on a search for new blogs today and found a few that I love.  If you're reading this, you either know me, are a bandster pal, or searching for connections to other bandsters.  These are a few inspiring blogs that I've discovered today and plan to visit regularly whilst sitting in bed at my brother's place recovering next week.

Click here for Catherine.  She's a fellow New Yorker who seems to have a great attitude and has some great recipes that I've discovered throughout her blog.  I really enjoy browsing through her blog as she lives in the same city as I do and I feel less of a disconnect than with bandsters other places, in that the NY lifestyle is just a little different than in other places and I find that I relate to many of her posts.

Click here for Amy.  She cracks me up.  She's a straight shooter and seems not to candy coat her words for anyone.  I have a smile on my face pretty much the entire time I read most of her posts.  She's a real pick me up when I need one.

and one of my ol' favorites Lap Band Gal.  She provides a ton of great info and so much about her journey.  I love going back to her page often to get insight for the process on the whole.  She was one of my first followers and I always love her feedback.

Now don't go and abandon me now that I've put you on to some great bloggers.  Stick by me!  I need all the support I can get!  I'm only 5 days from surgery!!!  Yipes!
